Dr. Attila Molnar, DVM
Diplomate ABVP, Certified in Avian PracticeDr. Molnar hails from Transylvania, Romania. As a child fascinated with all things animal, he spent most of his free time chasing after snakes and lizards, and he bred parakeets as well.
Dr. Molnar realized his dream of becoming a veterinarian when he graduated from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of Budapest in 1990. He then came to the United States and earned his veterinary degree from the University of Iowa.
Since then, Dr. Molnar has not wasted any time in advancing his knowledge in the veterinary sciences: He developed an interest in small animal internal medicine, which he later sidelined to pursue and achieve board certification in avian medicine.
Dr. Molnar is above all a passionate man, as any friend or client can attest to, and has a lifelong dream of helping to protect our threatened avian species in North America and abroad. Dr. Molnar is involved in conservation of the Lear Macaw, California Condor, and New Zealand Kea and Kokapoo.
In his rare free time, Dr. Molnar enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ultimate Fighting Championship MMA, and world politics.
He shares his home with Dr. Kerry Milliken, their newborn son A.J., and a small herd of animals including snakes, birds, lizards, turtles, dogs, and "Bob" the cat.
